COLLIER, Carol, age 66, of Trenton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Garden Manor Extended Care Center where she had been a patient for two days. She was born November 8, 1948 in Middletown and lived in this area all her life. She was employed as a Deputy Sheriff for Butler County for 25 years. She was a member of the F.O.P. Lodge. Preceding her in death were here father, James Collier; one grandson, Jeremy Miller; and one sister. She is survived by her mother, Betty Collier; five children, Bryan Short, Angie Price, Toni Short, Terri (David) Ferguson and Danny Short; 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers; one sister; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, followed by services at 6:00 p.m. with Rev.
