James Andrew “Andy” Braxley, Age 18, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Morgan Memorial Hospital. Andy was a native of Baldwin County. He lived in Baldwin and Putnam Counties before moving to Morgan County. Andy was a 2014 graduate of Morgan County High School. He was a member of Buckhead Baptist Church where he was baptized on August 3, 2014 by Rev. Dennis Garner. Andy’s heart was overflowing with kindness and empathy for others in spite of his own hardship.

Andy is survived by his parents, Father Ron Braxley and Mother Rhonda Sink Braxley of Buckhead, two sisters Melissa Anne Braxley and Rebecca Lynn Braxley of Buckhead, a Brother Marshall Neal Braxley of Buckhead, Maternal Grandparents Fred and Linda Sink of Buckhead, Paternal Grandparents Miller and Mildred Braxley of Milledgeville, Great Grandmother Alpha Sink of Albany, Uncles and Aunts Perry and Danette McDonald of Beggs, OK and John and Julie McWilliams of Houston TX.
A Celebration of life service will be held for Andy 2 PM Friday, August 22, 2014 at Buckhead Baptist Church, with Rev. Dennis Garner Officating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 pm - 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Buckhead Baptist Church Youth Ministry.
