Paul Aaron Meredith, 9, of Midland passed away at home in the arms of his "Grammy" on Monday, June 4, 2007.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Crestview Baptist Church, 3300 Thomas, in Midland with Rev. Byron Smith officiating. Visitation will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, 3800 North Big Spring Street, in Midland. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Paul will be laid to rest next to his grandfather, Cecil Meredith, at the Houston National Cemetery at 10:00 AM Friday, June 8, 2007.

Paul was born March 26, 1998 in Pasadena, Texas. He moved to Midland in 2003 and attended school. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cecil Meredith in 2003; and his great grandparents, George and Athilene Meredith.

He is survived by his grandmother, Liz "Grammy" Meredith of Midland; great grandparents, Sue and Elton Booth of Odessa; aunt and uncle, Susan and Klaus Szabo of Georgetown; aunt and uncle, Chris and Arlene Oliver of Snyder; father, Patrick Meredith; mother, Kara Goodall of Houston; half sister, Carissa Meredith; grandmother, Shirley LaFleur of Uvalde; great grandmother, Cora Beam of Mason; aunt and uncle, Trina and Charlie Schmidt of Mason; uncle, Troy Meredith of Uvalde; and the loving support of family in Christ.

The family would like to thank Dr. Sari Nabulsi, MD and Hospice of Midland for their love and care of Paul.
