A Mass of Christian burial for Minnie D. Rixie, 75, of Lake Villa, was celebrated on Friday, Nov. 28, at Prince of Peace Church in Lake Villa.
Mrs. Rixie died on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at Condell Memorial Hospital in Libertyville. She was born in Wisconsin had had lived in Lake Villa for 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Norvel; her children, Daniel Plaza of Lake Villa, Leonard (Marian) Plaza of Chicago, Robert (Katherine) Plaza of Rockford, Delores Blair of Round Lake Park, and Darlene (Richard) Geiske of Oregon; sisters and brothers, Stella Mathls, Helen Plaza, John Suske and Ben Garski; 20 grand- children and 25 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Clarence Plaza, Sr.
Internment was at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
