The funeral will be at Morningside Baptist Church, Augusta, with the Rev. Don Tipton officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwich Cemetery, Savannah.
Mrs. Grimes, a native of Statesboro, Ga., had lived in North Augusta for 33 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Widows Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Golden Glow Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Joyce Hurt, Clarksville, Tenn., and Rita Economos, North Augusta; a sister, Olivera Lee, Savannah Beach, Ga.; and 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
