Gregory Contez Jenkins, 34, of Opelika, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. He was born on September 14, 1984 in Lee County, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Lawayne Holstick.
Survivors include: wife; four children; mother; grandmother; ten siblings; step-mother; three aunts; two uncles; mother-in-law; father-in-law; sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; three god-brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mr. Jenkins will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday, March 16, 2019.
Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at True Deliverance Holiness Church, 936 North Donahue Drive, Auburn, Alabama with Bishop Nolan T. Torbert, Pastor and officiating, Elder Earnest Griggs, eulogist. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Opelika, Alabama. Arrangements entrusted to Harris Funeral Home, 515 South 6th Street, Opelika, Alabama.
