Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m, Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for former Artesia resident Marshall B. Morris of Florence, Oregon!

Marshall, age 86, died peacefully in his sleep on May 23, 2007, He had been in poor health for several years following a major stroke but now is fully restored and in joyous peace in Heaven with the LORD.

Marshall is survived by Pauline E. Morris, his devoted wife of 65 years, and his two sons, Richard B. Morris and Charles F. Morris. There are six grandchildren (Anne Marie Gault, Sherri Ewing, Erik Morris: Barry Morris, Shelly Begtnes and Justin Morris) and nine great grandchildren (Austin and Ashley Gault, Jackson and Cameron Ewing, Lathan, McKinley and Maddie Morris, and Kaitlyn and Madison Begines).

Marshall was bom April 8, 1921, In Robinson, Illinois, to P.V. and Edith Morris. Shortly after Marshall's birth, the family moved to New Mexico
