Velma Joyce Callaway Brown Beardslee, age 85, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at her home on Friday, March 22, 2019.
She was born September 27, 1933 to Jesse Preston and Vada Dell (Glocksien) Callaway in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. On January 24, 1953 she married Billy Carl Brown and to their union seven children were born. In 1989 she married Earl Beardslee.
Velma was a devoted wife and a loving mother. Crocheting and poem writing were her favorite pastimes all her life. She graduated from Cassville High School Class of 1951.
Preceding her in death are her parents; two husbands; one son, Billy Brown; a great granddaughter, Francis Belle and one grandson, Travis Smith.
