Adah E. Peckenpaugh, age 92 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Beverly Living Center, Westwood, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Miss Peckenpaugh will lie in state from 12 Noon to 5 P.M. Friday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Clinton United Methodist Church or Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation for Life Flight Eagle and may be left at the funeral home.
Adah was an English teacher for the Clinton Public School System for over 40 years retiring in l977. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, the P.E.O. sisterhood, Delta Kappa Gamma sorority and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Peckenpaugh of Tucson, Arizona; niece, Jennifer Cummings and husband, David and two great nephews, Andy Cummings and Adam Cummings, all of Clinton and niece, Sharman Davis of Texas.
