He was a US Army Veteran of WW II and retired after 33 years as a truck driver for Better Beer and Wine Company.
Surviving are a daughter, three sisters, all of McCormick; three brothers, all of McCormick; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Hodges United Methodist Church.
