Charles Henry Hixenbaugh died March 13, 2019.

Chuck was a thoughtful, hardworking and loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He was born in the City of Flint Michigan on December 25, 1948 and his wonderful parents, Father Kenneth Eugene and mother Flora Marie Shoecraft Hixenbaugh. Chuck graduated from Gladwind High School.

Chuck served his Country with honor, courage and dedication, during the Vietnam War Era decorated with 4 Bronze Stars, and Navy Distinguish Service Medal. Chucks first tour of duty, United States Air Force, June 1968 – June 1974. Having split service he enlisted into the United States Navy June 1974 separating in Jan 1980, he then separated from the Navy and worked for General Motors in Flint Michigan. Reenlisting once again, Chuck returned to the United States Navy in September 1987 and Retired Jan 1991 as Chief Petty Officer E-7.

After serving his country honorably for 20 years, he worked for General Motors. Chuck was a great influence on his community working 8 years with Microsoft CBRE in Seattle that controlled Temperature within office buildings.

Survived by his wife of 38 years Teresita Hixenbaugh; Children, Arnold Evangelio, Charles W. Hixenbaugh and Kristoher E. Hixenbaugh; and Grandchild Charleigh.

Viewing will be held March 22, 2019 at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Bremerton, Washington with Full Honors.
