Wallace Drennon, operator of a riding stable in Yorktown for many years, died Thursday at Northern Westchester Hospital, where he had been a patient for about six weeks. His age was 78. He lived at 2915 Hyatt Street, Yorktown Heights, with his wife, Mary MacDowgall Drennon. He also leaves a son, Robert of Yorktown; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Irene Roche of Greenwich, Conn.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today (Saturday) at 2 p.m. at the E. O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill with the Rev. James W. Cook, pastor of the Yorktown Methodist Church, officiating. Burial is to be in Amawalk Cemetery.
