Stephen R. Grant, 64 of Jupiter, FL and formerly of Oceanport, NJ died suddenly at home on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012. He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend, Debbie Driscoll Grant; stepson, Phillip J. Hershkowitz, of whom he was so proud; sister, Penny; brothers, John and David; and nephews, Matt, Steve and Eric. He was predeceased by his parents, Col. John Wilson Grant and Betty Grant; and canine partner, "Harley Girl."

A graduate of Bordentown Military Institute, he served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He Grew up in a military family and proudly served our country as a decorated sergeant in the Marine Corps. He loved his country and was a true patriot. Semper Fi.

He touched countless lives both young and old. Those who knew him will never forget him. He had the ability to shock and awe, was always the life of the party, opinionated and clear on his views. Steve enjoyed talking to anyone and everyone. He left his mark throughout New Jersey and Florida.
