Bobbie Lee Phillips was born on February 24, 1931 in Snyder, Texas to Luther McKinsey Fambro and Sara “Daisy” Darius Clinghan Fambro.

Bobbie Lee Phillips passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2019, in Katy, surrounded by her loving family. She has lived in the Katy area since 2000, where she was a member of Kingsland Baptist Church.

In God’s care, she leaves her daughter, Ann Ferner and her husband Richard Remels; her loving grandchildren, Pamela Peterson, Taylor Remels, Amber Remels, John Davenport, and Dee Koehler; beloved stepchildren, Linda Lowe, Don Edwards, Margaret Hamon and her husband Paul, Chris Phillips and his wife Melodie, Mark Phillips and his wife Lorrie; and many nieces and nephews, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cy Phillips; daughter, Diana Martin; parents and brothers and sisters.

A woman of great strength, character and love Bobbie will be remembered as a gracious, caring woman, but most of all a loving mother and loyal friend to all she knew.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway, in Katy. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas with Mr. John Davenport officiating.

The family wishes to give a heartfelt thanks to Pamela Peterson, whose attentive, loving care for the past five months allowed Bobbie to remain in her home and be treated with dignity, honor and respect, and to Sharon Cudd and Mae Nelson with AccuCare Medical Staffing who provided loving care.
