Cheryl graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ where she took fencing for the first time and came in second in the state of New Jersey.
Cheryl enjoyed her work over the years in sales and the hotel industry, then went on to have an eleven-year career as a RE/MAX Real Estate Agent. Cheryl loved showing sample homes. She loved the beach and would go any chance she could get. She enjoyed bowling and playing in her tennis club. A sports enthusiast, she also coached youth basketball and a softball team.
Cheryl received her early Christian education at Saint Paul Baptist Church and was baptized by the late Dr. Alvin A. Jackson. Later moving to Atlanta, GA, Cheryl joined the New Hope Baptist Church.
Cheryl married Charles Henry Bolden on November 11, 1999. They enjoyed 19 years of marriage.
Cheryl was predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Bolden and two sisters, Denise A. Collins Gross and Cynthia L. Collins Watson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents Charles and Frances Collins Sr.; seven brothers, Charles Jr. (Rene), William (Kathy), Andre (Ericka), Gerry (Loren), Phillip (Morgen), Jason (Dorinda), Aaron (Angie); Nine sisters, Valerie, Lisa (Mark), Barbara (Bryan), Brenda, Sandy (Sean), Frances Jr., Dana (Howard), Heather (David) and Christine; one step daughter, Shawnda Bolden; six aunts, Bernice Hazell, Doris Bass, Dee Sanders, Molly Sanders, Louise Collins and Bertha Walker; one uncle James Bass; thirteen nephews, 14 nieces; 1 great-niece and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
