Ollie Lorene (Garrett) Ford “Blondie”, daughter of the late George Washington Garrett and Ollie (Jarrett) was born August 29, 1944 in Ellsinore, MO., and departed this life on March 21, 2019 at her residence in Ellsinore, MO. She had attained the age of seventy-four year, six months, and twenty-three days.

Blondie had resided in Ellsinore for most of her life. Before retirement, she had worked as a manager at various convenience stores. She was of the Christian faith, and had attended the General Baptist Church in Ellsinore. She enjoyed collecting Barbie dolls, and had a love for genealogy; she even helped with the Carson Cemetery in the knowledge of knowing where plots are located throughout the cemetery. Blondie was a kindhearted woman, one of the sweetest, gentlest, and most thoughtful.

On September 5, 1959, she was united in marriage to Lindell Ford.

She is survived by her three sons, David Lindell Ford and wife Terry of Kings Bay, GA., Daniel George Ford and Douglas Edward Ford both of Ellsinore, MO; three brothers, Rob Garrett, Jerry Garrett, and Bill Garrett; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Blondie was preceded in death by her husband, Lindell Ford; one brother, Harlan Garrett, three sisters, Gladys, Mary Rose, and Bonnie.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellsinore, MO., with the Funeral Services being held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. William McDowell will be Officiating. Burial will be in the Carson Hill Cemetery in Ellsinore, MO.
