Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Bobby Joe Walker, 56 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his residence.

Brother Kent McKenzie will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Chris Williams, Stanley Williams, Timmy Walker, Buster Carter, Shane Carter, and Cody Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Walker Sr., Billy Walker Sr., Randy Walker Sr., Korey Fraley, and Michael Carter.

Mr. Walker was born on May 20, 1962 in Laurel, Mississippi. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. Mr. Walker retired from the Covington County Beat #3 after numerous years of service. He was a member of the Northwest Covington Fire Department. Mr. Walker attended The Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lora Erustus "Babe" Walker and Pauline Thompson Walker; his brother, Steve Walker; and his nephew, Randy Walker, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of thirty three years, Sandra Culpepper Walker of Collins; his children, Korey Fraley (Michelle) of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, Brittany Walker (Savetra McDonald) of Collins, and Brandon Walker of Collins; his siblings, Earl Walker (Berta) of Pensacola, Florida, Billy Walker (Marija) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Susie Peel (David) of Hattiesburg, Randy Walker (Tonja) of Denver, Colorado, and Polly Eubanks (Micky) of Mount Olive; two grandchildren, Gavin Coyne of Belle Chasse, Louisiana, and Alana McDonald of Magee; his mother-in-law, Sadie Culpepper of Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
