Mr. Jimmie Dale Adams, 87 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at his home in Benton, KY. He was a member of Zion's Cause Baptist Church and member of the Operating Engineer's Local 181, Paducah, KY. He was a Veteran of the US Navy and served during the Korean Conflict.
Born Wednesday, May 27, 1931 in Caldwell Co., Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ray Adams and the late Elnora (Lacey) Adams.
Surviving are his wife, Mary K. (Littlejohn) Adams of Benton, KY, sons, Brent Adams of Calvert City, KY and Charles Adams of Benton, KY, brother, Ray Adams of Gilbertsville, KY, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joann McCalister.
A Graveside funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens located at Hwy U.S. 641 North Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Dr. Charles Frazier officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025.
