Dr. Buster “B.F.” Brown, age 92, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019. He was predeceased by his wife of over 60 years, Marjorie Lafferty Brown, and by 7 siblings. Buster was born in Poole, Kentucky, on January 13, 1927, to the late Lawrence and Sarah Duckworth Brown. He graduated Poole High School 1945, Western Kentucky University (Pre-medical) with a B.S. in Chemistry & Biology 1949, University of Louisville School of Medicine (M.D.) 1953 (internship Kentucky Baptist Hospital 1954). Ever a “tinkerer” he enjoyed restoring antique musical instruments, radios, and cars. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with services at 2:00 p.m., Dr. Robert Browning officiating.
