Eric Devin Jacobson, age 24, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 22, 2019, at his home in Grand Forks, ND.
Eric was born on January 9, 1995, in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Steven and Ruth (Pontow) Jacobson, Sr. He grew up in Grand Forks and Manvel, ND, and graduated from Central High School in 2013. He worked at the Wild Hog and was currently working in the Hugo's Deli on Columbia Rd. Eric enjoyed talking and visiting with everyone he met. He also enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews, cooking and bowling.
Eric is survived by his parents, Steven and Ruth Jacobson, Sr., of Manvel, ND; siblings, Christina Vander Tuig of Midland, MI; Peter Vander Tuig of Wahoo, NE; Jacqueline (Bryan) Ewert of Grand Forks, ND; Michael Jacobson of Grand Forks, ND; and Steven (Amy Brown) Jacobson, Jr., of Drayton, ND; grandmother, Doris Pontow of Thief River Falls, MN; 14 nieces and nephews; 1 great nephew; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rueben and Kathy Jacobson and Robert Pontow; uncle, David Jacobson; and aunt, Laurel Jacobson.
