Ann Cunningham, age 101, of Texarkana, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in a Hope hospital. She was born on June 3, 1917 in Texarkana to Robert and Elizabeth Platz. She was of a member of the Assemblies of God Church, Avon Sales Representative and The First Miss Texarkana.
Ann lived out her later years at home with her daughter Terri in Hope.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Thurman, Richard Haynes and Norman Cunningham, her parents, daughter, Elizabeth Ann Thurman, grandson, Jarrod Perkins, sister, Betty Herrin and brother, R. F. Platz.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law; Jayne and Robert Cooper and Terri and Charles Perkins; five grandchildren, Misti, Bryan (Jessica), Ben, Brandon (Gina) and Samantha (Wesley), eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date to celebrate her life and death.
