THOMAS LOUIS "TOMMY" LUCAS

Thomas “Tommy” Louis Lucas, age 84, was born on May 16, 1934 to Alex Lucas and Dora Edith “Dickerson” Lucas. Tommy lived in the community his entire life except for the time he served in the military.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, George Mack Lucas; sisters, Mary Marie Lucas and Lottie Louise Lininger.
Tommy was inducted into the military on April 9, 1957. He served in the United States Army in the Light Weapons Infantry and was stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington until he was honorable discharged in April of 1959. During his service he received a Good Conduct Medal. Tommy was employed in the construction division of the Wildlife Department.
Tommy was a member of the Sobol Baptist Church, Sobol, OK. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed tinkering around with old electronics.
Survivors include: brothers, Johnny Lucas of Louisiana and Calvin Lucas of Valliant, OK; sisters Nancy Lee Funderburk of Valliant, Rosie Bess and Dora Slaton of Valliant, OK.
