Matt Edmonds, 46, Rocky Comfort, Mo., died on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at his home in Rocky Comfort.
Mr. Edmonds was born July 22, 1960, in Stella, Mo., the son of James "Woody" and Charlotte (Utter) Edmonds. He was a lifelong area resident, a cattle farmer and worked in construction. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan; enjoyed hunting and rodeoing; and was a member of the Stella United Methodist Church.
Matt and Beth Lauters were married on July 20, 1991, at LeMars, Iowa, and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Charlotte Marie "Charlee" and Claire Madison Edmonds, both of the home; and a brother, Mark Edmonds, Midwest City, Okla.
Services will be Saturday, June 9, at 10 a.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Mo. Rev. Steve Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Bob Coberly, Jessee Spencer, John Durbin, Stan Marney, Zach Coberly and Randy Spiva. Friends may call at Clark Funeral Home, Granby, on Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
