A graveside service was held at 3 PM, Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends one hour prior to the service from 2-3 PM in the sanctuary of Midway United Methodist Church.
Wayne was born in Davidson County, NC on July 11, 1926 to the late Thurmon and Minnie Foust Beck.
He was a retired assistant manager for Wilson Furniture Company of Midway, NC.
Surviving are his loving wife, Mary Sue Taylor Beck of the home; son, W. B. Beck, Jr of Lexington; a step-son, Terry Stamper (Ann) of Advance; three daughters, Judy Lasseigne (Craig) of Euless, TX; Connie Gaddy (Michael) of Monroe; and Jan Johnson (Glenn) of Advance; sisters, Lois Gallimore of Denton; and Sadie Peacock of Lexington; nine-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midway United Methodist Church.
