BENBROOK - Elmer "Al" Rose, 94, went to the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
Elmer "Al" was born July 5, 1924. He was the beloved husband to the late Trudy Rose.
Al served in both the US Navy and the US Air Force for over 30 years, serving in World War II and the Korean War, earning multiple awards and medals. After retiring to El Paso, Texas he worked as a sub-contractor for US Customs and dabbled real estate. He was a beloved Daddy, Papa and G-Papa, he will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Trudy Rose; parents; Austin L and Helen (Snow) Rose; brothers, George, Norman and Austin Rose; step-daughter, Ketrenia Hall; daughter, Marie Ann and husband, Hughie Imel; grandchildren, Christy and husband, Dean Grant and Lucas Imel; great-grandchildren, Chandler, Bailey and Ainsley Grant; step-daughter, Quinette and husband, Les Begg; Jim Hall; and many other step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
