Sharon A. Vaughan, 59 of Del Rio, Tx was called home to the Lord on March 16, 2019. Sharon was born in Del Rio, Texas on December 18th, 1959 to Howard and Darrylene Baughman. She was raised in Del Rio and graduated from Del Rio High School. She and Glen were married in Del Rio, Texas on February 26th, 1983. Sharon had a passion for her family and a love for her friends that will leave an everlasting impression. Sharon left behind a host of BEST friends and everyone mattered to her. Sharon was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother and Glam-ma and was best described by her courage, generosity, and free spirit with open arms to all who walked through her door. She loved being with her friends and family anywhere, but especially at the lake and the river. She was a great bowler, although slightly out of practice, she still had a good game. She loved her fur-babies and her dauschund Dixie was always by her side at home. She and Glen have been each other's sweethearts for 45 years and they were only separated from each other on the weekends of every November through January of every year for hunting season, as she was not an avid hunter. Their dedication to each other prevailed all through the difficult times. Her courage and strength while she fought breast cancer made her an inspiration to many people.

She was totally dedicated to her daughters, Chelsea Gurley and Shelby Vaughan, her son in law, Jake Gurley but she was obsessed about her grand children, Jasper and Charlize. They were her spark. Her legacy of love will carry on through the generations. She learned to love from her daddy, Howard Baughman and her other mother Edna Baughman and her strong will came naturally from her mother Darrylene Baughman. She left this world in her own manner, the same way she fought to stay... she left with Grace, Courage, and on her own terms.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Darrylene Baughman, and her grand daughter June Pearl Gurley.

Surviving her is her love of her life Glen Vaughan, her Father and Stepmother Howard and Edna Baughman, daughter Chelsea Gurley and husband Jake, daughter Shelby Vaughan, grandson Jasper Gurley, granddaughter Charlize Gurley, brother David Harrison and wife Connie, sister Barbara Schutkesting and husband Fred, sister Melissa Layton and many nephews and nieces.
