Dennis J. Pierce, 62, of Leeper passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at his home, in the arms of his wife, Nancy.
He was born Feb. 14, 1952, the son of Donald Pierce and Wally Kolling Pierce.
He grew up in Clarion, lived and loved 25 years in Olympia, Washington, and recently returned to Pennsylvania to enjoy the company of family, especially his grandchildren.
Denny is survived by his wife of 27 years, Nancy Suchacek; his son, Allen Pierce, Allen's wife Jolene, and their children, Brianne and Braden.
He is also survived by his brother, Larry Pierce; his sister, Terry Pierce and her husband Terry Ziminski; and many friends.
Denny had a love for life, which included family, friends, traveling, fly fishing, and hunting. He took pride in his work and his business ventures, among them co-founder of PriZm Surveying and owner of Briar Hill Rustic Furniture.
Denny and Nancy loved vacationing in our National Parks, so in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Park Service, (Search "National Park Service", click the "Get Involved" tab, click "Donate," select a park of your choice).
At Denny's request, no services will be held.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood St., Clarion.
