Mrs. Elizabeth Harper Griffin of Ocilla died April 19. 2002 in Shady Acres Nursing Home in Douglas, Georgia. She was 85. Mrs. Griffin was born 28, September 1916, in Wray, Irwin County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Eunice Buchan Harper and Alonzo Harper.

Mrs. Griffin was the owner-operator of Holt Grocery from 1955 to 1975. She loved flowers and raised orchids for many years. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Griffin.

Survivors include her daughter Sandra G. Webster of Wray; grandchildren: Mark and Cole Webster;
brothers: Russell B. Harper; Jacob M. Harper; Murwin Harper; Linnel Harper and a sister, Miriam Sherret .

Services were held at Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald. Interment was held at Evergreen Cemetery.
