Jerry Dewayne Nettles was born on April 15, 1966, in Orlando, Florida, to Gerald and Linda Nettles. Jerry went to be with his Lord on Tuesday morning, March 19, 2019. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many who will miss him dearly.

Jerry married Sue Ann Maddox in 1984 in Brenham, Texas, and together they had three children—April Ann, Jerry Dewayne II, and Brent Andrew Nettles. Jerry spent his life working to grow the company his father started and was an active member of his church communities. Everything he pursued he did with the utmost zeal; giving one hundred percent of himself, bringing smiles, hugs and usually… some barbeque. He loved cooking for and with friends, playing the drums for his church, and spending time with his beloved dog, Chuy.

Jerry is survived by his sons Jerry Dewayne II, Brent Andrew Nettles and wife Sarah; his grandson Henry Nettles; his mother Linda Nettles; three sisters Teresa Nettles, Cheri and husband Don Hazelwood, Hope and husband Bryan Batchman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter April Ann Nettles and father Gerald Lafayette Nettles.
