HOWARD E. ''PAPPY'' HENDRIX, 85, Plymouth-Sorrento Road, Apopka, died Sunday, Oct. 23, of heart failure. Mr. Hendrix was a retired production employee for Minutemaid and was also a landscaper. Born in Prentiss County, Miss., he moved to Central Florida in 1949. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors: wife, Annie; sons, J.C., New Albany, Miss., Wayne, Apopka, Thomas, Ocoee, Dale, Orlando; daughters, Gail Burchhardt, Orlando, Ruth Clark, Apopka; sisters, Lucille Billings, Myrtle, Miss., Bessie Graham, Booneville, Miss.; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Orlando.
