Lillie Mae Hitchcock Finley Jager, age 88, of Cookeville passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Tuesday, January 19, 1932 in Morton County, Kansas to the late Samuel Bradley Hitchcock and Elizabeth Nash Hitchcock.

She was a retired cook from Capshaw Elementary School and former employee of L.E. Vickers and Associates.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Alpha Finley and Junior Jager; children, Jim Finley and infant daughter, Kathy Sue Finley; grandson, Brian "Christopher" Finley; 15 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by 3 sons, Roger (Kathy) Finley of Algood, Brian Finley and Brad Finley, both of Cookeville; 8 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at Presley Funeral Home with Pastor Dow Allen officiating. Interment followed in Nash Cemetery in White County.
