He was born January 7, 1946 in Clifton Forge to the late Hezekiah Mack, Jr. and Doris Brown.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raphael Mack.
He was a retired Master Sergeant of United States Air Force, retired from CSX Transportation as Road Foreman of Engines, was a member of the First Baptist Church where he served on the Trustee Board and as an usher and was a member and Past Master of the John Barnes Masonic Lodge #305, as well as Past District Deputy Grand Master.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hatcher Mack; seven daughters, Mia Mack (Terry) Martin, Gloria “GeGe” Mack, Deniece Robins, Patrice Grimes, Carlene Johnson, Doris Mack, and Robin Mack; two sons, Carl Mack and Justin Brown and two brothers, Richard Lloyd Mack and Richard Allen Mack.
A graveside memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Red Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Roslyn Thomas officiating.
