Robert Oliver “Bob” Donahue passed away January 25, 2019 at the age of 93.

Bob was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1925.

He served in the Navy and was a recognized World War II veteran.

He married Dolores Virginia Bloch in 1949 and they had three children (William, Susan and Douglas). Bob and his family moved to Ellicott City, MD in 1969.

Later in life, Bob and Dolores retired to Hedgesville, W.Va., where they lived out their lives.

Bob was very active in his community and his church. He loved to play golf and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

Bob was active in the American Legion and previously served as Commander of Post 60 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

There will be a Celebration of Life memorial for Bob at the American Legion Hall located at 527 N. Washington St, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., on Saturday, March 23rd from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., followed by food and beverages. All are welcome to attend.
