Robert E. Maguire Of West Harwich, and Newton, passed away, March 11, 2019. Beloved husband of 65 years to Lorraine ( Kiely) Maguire and loving father of Robert E. Maguire, Jr. of Westfield, NJ, Patricia Maguire of Newton, Dennis Maguire of Newton, Kathleen Noonan of Wellesley and Brendan McGinn of Natick. Also survived by his 8 grandchildren and his sisters Maureen Rugo of Wilmington, NC and Ann Shaughnessy of Rye, NH.
Graduate Class of 1944 Our Lady's High School, Newton , Bob then enlisted in the US Army and upon returning to the states enrolled at Franklin Institute in Boston to begin his career in the Plumbing and Heating field. Founder of Maguire Company, Inc., a company he grew from the Circa 1922 Maguire Plumbing & Heating.
Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 25, at 10 am, in Holy Trinity Church, 246 Main St., West Harwich. Interment with Military Honors to follow in the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
