Raymond A. Ortega, Jr. age 68 born June 19, 1950 in Nixon, Texas passed away on March 3, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Herminia Ortega. He is survived by his companion, Sylvia Cortez and his children, Raymond Ortega, III. (Marta), Rene Ortega, daughter-in-law, Tasa, Rosanne Ortega-Gonzales (Luterio), Reuben Ortega (Esther); grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon, Tristan, Madisyn, Savannah, Miley, Liana, Elijah, Mateo, Layla, Joshua, Camila; brother, Joe Henry Ortega (Rosie); sister, Olga Bellg (Bruce); numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. The Funeral Procession will depart at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery 2. After the conclusion of the committal service the family would like to extend an invitation for a reception in Honor of Raymond A. Ortega Jr. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church Hall.

(Marta), Rene Ortega, daughter-in-law, Tasa, Rosanne Ortega-Gonzales (Luterio), Reuben Ortega (Esther); grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon, Tristan, Madisyn, Savannah, Miley, Liana, Elijah, Mateo, Layla, Joshua, Camila; brother, Joe Henry Ortega (Rosie); sister, Olga Bellg (Bruce); numerous relatives and friends.
