He is survived by his companion, Sylvia Cortez and his children, Raymond Ortega, III. (Marta), Rene Ortega, daughter-in-law, Tasa, Rosanne Ortega-Gonzales (Luterio), Reuben Ortega (Esther); grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon, Tristan, Madisyn, Savannah, Miley, Liana, Elijah, Mateo, Layla, Joshua, Camila; brother, Joe Henry Ortega (Rosie); sister, Olga Bellg (Bruce); numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. in Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. The Funeral Procession will depart at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery 2.
