BALL Calvin M. "Hobo", beloved husband, father, brother and friend passed away at his home on Monday, August 16, 2004, surrounded by his family. Cal was born, September 1923, he married L. Dell Ball, the love of his life and they had one daughter, Sharon Osborne. He had many jobs in his lifetime, but his true calling was his volunteer work as an India Shrine Clown. Hobo was a charter member of the clown unit, past director of the clowns, Clown Emeritus and a member of the Clown Hall of fame. His service as Ring Master at the annual Shrine Circus was legendary. The Shrine Clowns have suffered a great loss. Cal was a 56 year member at Myrtle Masonic Lodge #145, Guthrie Scottish Rite and a proud member of Tulakes Baptist Church, where he loved to tease his pastor Joe Masterson. Cal was preceded in death by his wife, Dell of 62 years; his parents Jim and Edna Bell and two sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Osborne and her husband George; 2 grandchildren, Brian Osborne and Tracy Owens; and 2 great grandchildren, Summer Osborne and Drew Owens. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the Indian Shrine Children's Transportation Fund or Edmond Hospice. Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 19th at India Shrine Center, 2601 N.W. 36th. Guardian West 41 & N. MacArthur 495-9292
