Patricia Gibson Thompson, age 68, of Danville, WV passed away peacefully Tues March 19, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born in Logan, WV and was the daughter of the late Sebert and Lillie Gibson.
Survivors include her sons; Paul D. Simons of Asheboro, NC. Patrick J. Simons of Cleveland, OH. Richard W. Simons of Acworth, GA and daughter, Brandi L. Moore of Fort Mill, SC. Pat had 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Sisters; Phyllis Barrett of Acworth, GA, Janet Hughes of Painesville, OH, Judy Davidson of Painesville, OH, Connie Terral of Charleston, WV and brother, Harold Gibson of Danville, WV along with a host of nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother John Gibson and sisters Gloria (Jean) Robertson and Martha Mobley.
As per her wishes her remains were cremated and the family will hold a Remembrance in her honor on June 8, 2019 at the Gibson Family Reunion.
