Annette was born in 1956 in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, to the late Eugene and Grace (Leavitt) Nicholas. She was one of seven siblings and loved all her family and friends more than anything.
She adored her grandson, Nicholas Reed's frequent visits, as he would lie alongside her and read to Annette, or just talk. Annette also enjoyed going to church when she was able and listened to programs to enhance her understanding and faith.
In addition to her parents, Annette was predeceased by her sister, Wanda (Nicholas) Mitchell [memorial #84542107]; uncle, John Leavitt; and parents-in-law, James W. Reed, Sr. and Annie Reed.
Left to cherish Annette's memory are her husband, James W. Reed, Jr., of forty-four years; their children, Christopher (Jen) Reed, Andrea (J.P.) Appleton and Andrew (Quang Ha) Reed; amazing grandkids, Brandon Appleton, Ryan Appleton and Nicholas Reed; and her siblings, Eugene Nicholas, David (Lauri) Nicholas, Steve Nicholas, Paul Nicholas; and Karen Wheeler; along with many extended family members and a host of friends.
Friends may greet Annette's family from 3 to 5 P.M., on Wednesday, 20 March 2019, at the Kiley & Foley Funeral Home, 299 Union Street, Bangor.
