Mrs. Rosie Ball, 79, 501 E. 8th Street, died Sunday at Massac Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Ball is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Reba English, Mrs. Lois Allen and Mrs. Mildred Parmely, all of Metropolis; a son, Herschel Ball of Benton, MI; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Hobbs of Shawneetown; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at Aikin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul E. Dann, Sr. and the Rev. Louis Brinker officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm tonight.
