Catherine June Alexander, 90, Goshen, died 12 a.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Center for Hospice, Elkhart. She was born Jan. 9, 1929 in Nappanee, to John & Elizabeth (Snyder) Rensberger. On Oct. 4, 1975, she married Clarence Alexander and he died March 23, 2001.
Surviving are a brother, Wilfred Rensberger, Warsaw, many nieces and nephews and her roommates, Dianne & Nancy.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband and siblings, Richard, Charles, Douglas, John Rensberger Jr., Margie Oberlander, Myrtle Young, Emma Ernest and Alene Kunder.
Catherine was a homemaker and also worked at ADEC. She was a member of New Paris Church of the Nazarene and active in Riverview Adult Day Program. She enjoyed watching Little House & The Waltons with roommates. Catherine enjoyed puzzles, coloring, crocheting, spending time with family and Church on Sunday.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, with the funeral service following at 7 p.m. Pastor Bryon D. Smith of the New Paris Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Oakridge Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to ADEC.
