Valerie R. Hall, 74, of Holliston, passed away February 7th, 2017. Raised in Beltsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Lucille (Granger) and Stanley Rollin. She was the well-loved wife of Michael L. Hall of Holliston.

Valerie began her career as an elementary and pre-school teacher. Later, she spent decades in Maryland owning/managing an active real estate practice and raising her family. At the time of her passing, she was a retired real estate broker and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Holliston, where she served as a Stephen Ministry Leader and Deaconess of Congregational Life. Spending time with her grandchildren was one of the great joys of her life.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Valerie A. Yarashus of Holliston, David R. Yarashus and his wife Heather of Virginia; two step-children, Jeff Hall of Maryland, and Holly Hall Smith of Delaware. She also leaves behind her sister, Joyce M. Rolczynski of Maryland, her first husband Raymond G. Yarashus of Hopkinton, her second husband Howard Johnson of Maryland, as well as 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.She was predeceased by her brother, Dennis S. Rollin.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 11th from 2-5p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 40 High Street, Holliston on Saturday, March 4th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Valerie’s memory may be made to HomeStart Inc., 105 Chauncy St # 502, Boston, MA 02111 or homestart.org.
