Matthew Earl Isbell, age 46, Hoover, AL, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019. He is survived by his parents Earl and Mae Isbell of Leeds, AL; his three children: Mary Grace, Zach, and Hudson Isbell and their mother Lacee Isbell Tritt, Hoover, AL. He is also survived by sisters Christi Isbell Josey (Kirt) and nephew Blaine Weems, Leeds, AL; Wendy McGovern (Stephen) and nephews Stephen and Patrick McGovern, Gainesville, FL; Tammy Katz, Port Richey, FL; brothers Carl Stokes (Laura), Upper Black Eddy, PA; and Jeff Stokes, Chicago, IL; two stepsons Levi and Oliver Miller and their mother Jamie Miller Isbell, Hoover, AL; uncles Brent Isbell (Linda) Leeds, AL; Larry Isbell (Deborah) Leeds, AL; Buddy Chasteen (Bonnie) Pell City, AL; James Chasteen (Kay) Leeds, AL; and aunt, Mary Chasteen Little, Pell City, AL; and several cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Millard Huey Isbell and Minnie Lee Walker Isbell, and John and Lonie Dutton. Matt Isbell served as District Sales Manager of the Nucor Steel Sheet Mill Group for 17 years. He received his B.S. from UAB in 1998. He graduated from Moody High School, 1991. He attended The Church of the Highlands, Riverchase. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and hiking. Most importantly, Matt loved his children. In lieu of flowers, a fund is being set up for the children's college.
