Robin Dudley Vaughan, 60, of 390 Wileman Road, Lynch Station, died on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Chatham Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Wayne Preston Vaughan. She was born on March 4, 1959, in Lynchburg, a daughter of Lois Anne Nichols Dudley of Altavista and the late Houston James Dudley Jr. She was a member of Christian Life Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a stepson, Preston Bryant "Bo" Vaughan of Lynch Station; two sisters, Anita O'Dell Davis of Hurt, and Dora Dudley Johnson and her husband, Mark, of Huntersville, N.C.; two nephews, Dustin Thacker and his wife, Ashley, of Altavista, and Michael Davis of Raleigh, N.C.; a niece, Tiffany Raye Martin and her husband, Andrew and their children, Isaac and Bennett, of Huntersville, N.C.; and two step-granddaughters, Kirsti Jean Vaughan and her children, Logan, Matthew, and Jordan Beverly and Eleanor Vaughan and her child, Dela Vera Nicole Childress. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Christian Life Church by the Rev. Michael Turner with interment to follow in Altavista Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m. at the church and other times at her mother's home, 411 Rail Line Dr., Altavista.
