Linda Ellen Burns Bruner, 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Houston, Texas.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Linda was born in La Junta, Colorado on July 7, 1944.

She was a member of Northshore Friends Church for 50 years and created many lasting friendships as a member of TOPS and Pokeno. Linda lived a full life, enjoying sewing, bowling, reading, and travel.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Bruner Sr.; mother, Mary Ellen Green Burns; father, David Burns; and brothers, Gerald Burns, Verlin Burns, and Richard Burns.

Linda is survived by her children, Ronald Jr. and Sheila Bruner, Carol and Stephen Woodson, Carla and Todd Gerescher, David and Anne Bruner, and Kevin and Samantha Bruner. She was proud to be the grandmother of twelve grandchildren: Ryan, Jacob, Jonathan, Ashley, Matthew, Jessica, Megan, Kaden, Lindsey, Mason, Delaney, and Joshua. She is also survived by her siblings, Dennis and Janice Burns, Shirley and Carl McCabe, Anita Burns and Becky Vieyra, and Robyn Burns.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at the Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Chapel, 1015 Federal Rd. Houston Texas 77015.

Interment will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery, 14659 East Freeway, Houston Texas 77015. Reception to celebrate Linda's life will be held at the Summerwood Club House, 16136 Hunters Lake Way, Houston Texas 77044 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
