Jane Cecilia Blankenship, 87, Oak Island, Lunenburg County passed away February 9, 2011 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Norwalk, USA, she was a daughter of the late Theresa Lablanovitz. She left Miami, Florida with her husband Dan and moved to Oak Island. She volunteered at Western Shore Area Improvement Bingo for 10 years.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; son, David (Garnette), Oak Island; daughter, Linda Flowers, Georgia; grandchildren, Travis Hiltz (Mary Anne Donovan), Lunenburg; Bill (Tinna) Flowers, Florida; Dawn (Eilder) Rubio, Georgia; Jason (Elna) Lawson , Texas; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Norah, Tyler, Skylar and Kristina.

She was predeceased by daughter, Janet Kirby and son-in-law, Billy Flowers.

Services entrusted to R. A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville.

Funeral service at St. Mark's Anglican Church,Martin's Point, Reverend Bonnie Baird officiating. Interment in Western Shore Cemetery.
