Norma June Grant Gardner, 88, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2017 at Atria Assisted Living in Elizabethtown.

She was a native of Chicago and retired from First Citizens Bank. She was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and volunteered in Hardin Memorial Hospital gift shop.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. Gardner; her parents, Henry and Minnie Schuetz Grant; and four sisters, Lorraine, Barbara, Joyce and Karen.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth A. (Lynn) Gardner of Chicago and David (Jeri) Gardner of Lexington; two daughters, Linda (Ed) Gardner-Heintz of Woodland, Utah, and Janice (Greg) Parcell of Geneva, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren who lovingly knew her as "Nana."

A memorial service will be held at at later date at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Elizabethtown.

Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
