Parsons
J. P. Marnell, retired grocer, died June 25 in Mercy hospital, He was born Aug. 11, 1886 at Greenbush, and was married there in 1910 to Clara Brophy, who survives. The home is at 3107 Grand, Parsons. The Marnells came to Parsons in 1915. Other survivors are a son, William J. Parsons; two daughters, Mrs. T. L. Dick of Wichita and Mrs. Norman F. Hall, St. Joseph, Mo.
The funeral was held in St. Patrick's church with the Rev. E. I. Bunning officiating at the Requiem Mass. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

West Crawford
A double wedding occurred at the Greenbush Catholic Church April 6. James Marnell was united in marriage to Miss Clara Brophy and John Marnell was married to Miss Esther Brophy. This is the case of two brothers marrying two sisters on the same day. Reverend Father McKernan performed the ceremony.
