Jerry Conley was born in Claremore, Ok to Dale and Ira Lee Conley on April 8, 1941. He started school in West Tulsa attending Eugene Fields Elementary before moving to Catoosa in 1948. After school he spent three years in the United States Army. Jerry then married the love of his life Brenda on January 30, 1971. Jerry worked as a concrete finisher for his own concrete company and he spent time volunteering as a Catoosa Firefigher. He raised four beautiful girls; Tina, Teri, Christy and Jeri. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. When he was not hunting and fishing he spent most of his time cooking and helping out family. He was always working on something, keeping busy with his hands. He loved spending time with his grandkids, teaching, joking and story-telling.
He is survived by his Mother, Ira Lee Burris of Catoosa; wife Brenda Conley of Catoosa; Daughters; Tina Martz and husband James Martz of Broken Arrow, Christy Barbee and husband Jared Barbee of Catoosa, Jeri Diane Weaver and Harold Wicker of Catoosa. Jerry had nine grandkids and eight great-grand kids.
He is proceeded in death by his father Dale Conley, brothers; Curtis, Fred, Jack, Bill, Donnie, and daughter, Teri.
Arrangements are with Rice Funeral Home Catoosa. Viewing will be Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 5pm-7pm and services will be held Thursday March 21st, 2019 at Verdigris Assembly of God at 2 pm. Graveside service will be held at Dick Duck Cemetery in Catoosa, Ok.
