Inman, S.C. - James Donald "Don" Agnew, Jr., 67, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, S.C. he was the loving husband of Loretta Easler Agnew and son of the late James D. Agnew and Marjorie Betty Dill Agnew.

He retired as an electrical engineer from Wright Industries in Tennessee, was a U. S. Army veteran, a NRA member, and a member of Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. Don loved his family and rock music.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Shane Agnew and wife, Lori of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Tammy Threatt and husband, Jeffrey of Cowpens, S.C.; a brother, Barry Agnew and wife, Denise of Greenville, S.C.; three grandchildren, Taylor Threatt, Ashton Threatt and Kathleen Agnew.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Blakely Funeral Home. Memorial services will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Road, Suite 101, Greenville, S.C. 29615.

The family will be at the home of Loretta Agnew.
