Mary Ellen Corman, 77, of 247 N. Allegheny St. Bellefonte, died at Centre Community Hospital Saturday at 12:30am. She was born in Runville on June 4, 1903, a daughter of Harry E. and Hannah Elizabeth Cole McClincy. In 1922, she married Jacob Doyle Corman, Sr., who died in 1974. She is survived by a son, J. Doyle Corman, Jr. of Bellefonte, and a daughter Beverly Hickey, of State College. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren. Mrs. Corman was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pleasant Gap. She was a member of the Pleasant Gap Women's Club, Pleasant Gap Garden Club, Bellefonte Senior Citizens Club, PA Council of Republican Women, Order of Eastern Star, charter member of the Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Order of the Amaranth. Burial in Lutheran Cemetery, Pleasant Gap.
